I am frequently asked what it feels like to be an only child. My
answer is always the same and I continuously smile when I respond. Being
an only child is the most incredible thing I have been able to experience.
It has allowed me to have a strong relationship with my mother. Considering I have been raised by a single
parent, I have been blessed to have been provided for as if I had both
parents. If I had other siblings I do not
think I would have the same opportunity to be as close as I am to my mother. I am twenty years old and am a native of Long
Beach, MS. I absolutely love living on
the Mississippi Gulf Coast! I enjoy
eating seafood to say the least. I have
four Chihuahuas named Lilo, Stitch, Tiki, and Maui and they are the only
children I will be having for an extensive amount of time. I thoroughly enjoy running alongside the
beach and am currently training for a half marathon. I am also going to be competing for the title
of Miss University of Southern Mississippi to compete for Miss Mississippi. I have a passion for volunteering and am
always finding things I can do to help others.
I eventually would like to become an English professor and be able to
inspire others in some sort of way. I
hope to learn many things from this class and am excited to see how my
technological skills improve.
